  Stayed for two nights.....breakfast very good and friendly staff. Bathroom very small but adequate. On second night of stay the bar area was full as there was a reunion of Butlins Staff taking place so our party found a sofa in the reception area which also had two small tables and settled there. After about half an hour we were told we could not consume drinks in this area......Both of us are aged over 65........We pointed out there were no seats available in the bar and felt we had been reasonable in using the seating available in the reception area and if we moved it would be because seating was offered to us. The manager then removed some partitions from the room in which the bar was situated revealing a large (dance?) area and arranged a table and seating for us. Thankfully the situation was resolved in a cordial manner and using common sense. We proceeded to have a very enjoyable evening and indeed the group involved us in their reunion and a good time was had by all....The breakfast staff and reception were more than helpful and friendly. Rooms were adequate and clean.........
